"Vermiculture is booming once again," the sub-headline stated, in
the article " It's all business for worms ," featured in the
September 22, 1997 edition of U.S. News & World Report. "Vermiculture
ventures, the biggest of which involve 50 million worms chowing down
on almost 90 tons of waste per week, have boomed over the past few
years," the magazine reported.
"Worm composting, or vermiculture, is wiggling its way into the
hearts of families and cities across the country," wrote Newsweek in
its February 12, 1996 edition.
