About Us

We started our environmentally friendly recycling business in 1996 in a small town nestled in the northern Idaho panhandle. We were attracted by the pristine beauty of the area. A simple, natural ambience became one of the things that most endeared us to this place. We're still surrounded by mountains that nearly take your breath away. A glacial lake that gets only more spectacular with every stroke of high country sunlight. The rivers and moose still run wild and free.

We began our operations under the business name World Marketing, which then became Vermi-plex, and now has since evolved into a wider spectrum business called ECOLOGY TECHNOLOGY, INC. Our product line includes a full range of earth friendly solutions, including vermiculture (worm farming) products such as the incubators discussed in the news article.
